STRAPATSAKI Marianna, Invisible Places – The Vast White, 3 synchronised video projections, 2008, Courtesy of the artist

This is the third part of a visual trilogy of the artist in the theme of Birth-Life-Death. Drawing on ancient Greek philosophical work and more specifically on the thought of Heraclitus, the artist engages with the agony of pleasure, childbirth and nature. The three- screens engage with the dialectical process of a thesis-antithesis-synthesis, placing conceptually the cycle of life at the centre of this process.
