Theodoulos conceives of matter as the trace of an earlier one, on which he sets his mark, through a reflection on time and space, on history and memory. The artist removes all narration so that the visitor becomes one with the work and is not captive of an ideological discourse. His mixed media work is a geometric rendering of Aristotelian principles that engages with ontological philosophical questions, especially those related to the philosophy of form and the logic of “mind over matter”.
