Inside a large, ceramic, Chinese wine jar a plaster copy of the head of the famous ancient Greek statue “Ephebe of Marathon” is installed. The head is surrounded by shatters of its negative space, by the sky. An Attica sky traumatized but also committed to the sculpture. Once the visitor approaches and take a look inside the jar’s black hole, LEDs are starting to illuminate something we barely can understand: from chaos to cosmos. The statue in complete osmosis with its surrounded sky! The sculpture from memory becomes nebula where the golden hue shadows of the sky part of this skysculpture are projected in an interactive way.
